**Lecturer in Maths. 25.9 hours per week.** Part Time. P**ermanent.**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Science and Humanities adult learning team. The team is responsible for delivering full and part-time GCSE resit programmes and Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diplomas to adult learners.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic lecturer who can deliver high quality teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of our adult students in GCSE Maths, level 2 and Level 3 Access to HE units. It is important that you can communicate effectively and that you hold a good working knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Teams, Office and Excel spreadsheets.

With a clear understanding of the GCSE maths specifications and educated to degree level in maths, you will preferably have teaching experience and a track record of success in GCSE delivery.

Experience of working with Access to HE or A-level maths students would be ideal. You will hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to undertake one, and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

You will routinely monitor learner progress, setting individualised targets to ensure learners are developing their knowledge and skills. The ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and timely completion of course-related paperwork is essential.

You will have a flexible approach to working as there may be some teaching outside term time.
