Machine Setter

We're currently recruiting for Machine Setters on the outskirts of Grantham/ Sleaford.

**Hours of work**:4 on 4 off shift which are rotating days and nights. 05:45 - 18:00 and 17:45 - 0600

**Salary**:Up to £14.35 per hour

**Duties include;**
- Work as part of a team or alone on setting and maintenance tasks
- Use skills to keep all machines, mechanical equipment, functioning to the best of ability
- Participate with operators to fault find
- Carry out line adjustments as required
- Participate in creating a positive health and safety culture within the company
- Assist in the effective implementation of the production plan within the company by conducting changeovers where necessary
- Communicate any process or machine issues to the Management Team
- Maintain an adequate program of PPM across the site
- Work with day support to; inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions
- Record maintenance or repair work on relevant documentation
- Recommend to Management Team improvements that may be required in respect of productivity and efficiency of site
- Maintain the working areas and workshop in a respectable and clean manner and adopting good housekeeping procedures
- Collaborate working with all Operations Department and assist Engineers when required
- Flexible attitude with regards machinery to be worked on, normal hours of work & shift pattern
- Complete all relevant documentation in an accurate and in a timely manner

- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all times.
- Great attention to detail
- Organised and calm under pressure
- Friendly, approachable and flexible - a team player
- Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates “can do” attitude

**Qualifications and Experience;**
- Experience of a production environment and ancillary equipment is essential
- Ability to multi-skill between electrical and mechanical tasks where trained or

experienced.
- Good organisational and self-motivational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage
- Experience of machine maintenance
