**Solution Architect | Oracle (OMS, IMS) | UK remote working**

Please note, this is a UK-based remote working role.

Our client is embarking on the next phase of their technology-enabled business change and transformation. They are delivering a complex global portfolio of projects and programmes which spans business, digital, and customer transformation.

We’ve been mandated to hire a Solution Architect who will provide overall direction, guidance, definition, and facilitation for the development of current and future architecture required to meet our client needs specifically related to Back Office SupplyChain through Oracle (including OMS, IMS).

This role will be based from home with occasional travel to regional hubs and head office.

As Solution Architect for Supply Chain you’ll be responsible for designing, enablement, and guidance of solution architecture by owning the solution for key objectives and ensuring consistency with the architectural direction for our client.

You can expect your responsibilities to include:

- Lead analysis and design of tactical and strategic systems through establishing standard practices for representing and developing information, process, and system models.
- Produce technical documents such as reference architecture and design documents such as high-level designs, contributes to the architectural context and scope documents.
- Ensure solutions conform to global principles, policies and standards and regulations and are scalable future proof and fit for purpose.
- Develop and maintain architectural principles, strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps.
- Support in the creation of the low-level designs and reviews design documentation.
- Support the Project Manager in planning activities and technical viewpoints.
- Ensure all key design decisions are logged.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and trends, practically and pragmatically incorporate these into future architectures and roadmaps.

**Our client is looking for**

As Solution Architect you’ll bring a proven understanding of architecture and functionality of Oracle Order Management (OMS), Oracle Inventory Management (IMS), Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Order Promising, Pricing, CPQ and overall understanding ofOracle Fusion.
- Extensive experience with global deployments of Oracle Fusion OMS, IMS, GOP, Pricing, and Planning.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to tell stories that translate data and technology solutions to business stakeholders needs/requirements.
- Good financial & commercial acumen with ability to contribute or develop sound business cases, cost/benefit analysis and total cost of ownership models to support/justify positions appropriately.
- Highly strategic mindset with ability to connect the dots and translate into key tactical actions.
- Proven ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Well-developed influencing skills across all levels, both internal and external.
- Advanced conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills, pragmatic in approach.
- Excellent track record of gaining senior leadership buy-in to high-impact, high-value roadmaps and business cases.
- Extensive experience of architecting and delivering large (£20M+), global transformations involving multiple Systems Integration partners.
- Koerber WMS and CPQ knowledge would also be an added benefit.
