We are looking for an enthusiastic Admissions Adviser. You will play a crucial part in carrying out the onboarding and admissions process, ensuring efficiency and timely operation. You will provide expert advice to applicants, manage the onboarding process and maintain strong relationships with prospective learners.

Key responsibilities:

- To book diary appointments for IAG meetings
- To ensure the data required for admissions is acquired from the learner and employer
- To liaise with Client Services to ensure the smooth handover of learners
- To ensure potential learners complete the necessary Skills scans and functional skills assessments prior to their Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG) sessions

*To perform IAG interviews with learners and make informed decisions as to their suitability
- To liaise with learners and their managers to ensure that programmes are suitable and well-planned

Role Duties
- To liaise with Client Services to ensure the smooth handover of learners
- To ensure the data required for admissions is acquired from the learner and employer
- To book diary appointments for IAG meetings
- To ensure potential learners complete the necessary Skills scans and functional skills assessments prior to their Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG) sessions
- To perform IAG interviews with learners and make informed decisions as to their suitability
- To liaise with learners and their managers to ensure that programmes are suitable and well-planned
- To maintain a safe working environment at all times and provide awareness and guidance to ensure that the apprentice is kept safe in terms of and Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Prevent
- To keep up to date and adhere to quality assurance and compliance in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures adhering to the requirements of any external stakeholders including awarding bodies, the ESFA and Ofsted within your activities
- To complete Virtual Onboarding sessions for learners
- To complete all associated paperwork and data entry
- To provide IAG information to skills coaches
- To meet the onboarding target of learners per month
- To provide Management Information (MI) to relevant internal and external parties where necessary
- Undertake the relevant safeguarding, prevent and systems training and checks required for the role e.g. DBS. To participate in relevant CPD.
- To continuously improve the processes and systems where necessary
- Any other reasonable duties

- Experience working within an IAG role
- Experience of working with apprenticeship standards and eligibility criteria
- Experience of communicating with learners and their employers
- Experience of providing a service to external clients
- Experience of admissions

**Qualifications**:

- GCSE Maths grade C or 4/5 or equivalent
- GCSE English grade C or 4/5 or equivalent
- CMI/ILM qualification preferable
