Steelwork Draughtsman

Our client is a very well-established and successful steelwork fabrication and engineering business based in Uxbridge. They are lookimng for a Steelwork Draughtsman to join their existing desigm team. The successful Draughtsman will work on a wide variety of steelwork projects that includes both secondary/architectural steelwork and structural steelwork.

Salary to £50k D.O.E.

Duties: Work to engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models for a range of steelwork projects. **Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings etc. from the 3D Tekla model. ** To liaise with relevant external party’s, Architects, Engineers etc, as well as internal departments, i.e. design, estimating etc. **Communicate with client, engineers etc. as required to resolved technical queries/RFIs. ** Attend any required project / progress meetings.

However, excellent draughtsmen with a proven detailing background in Steelwork that have used other 3D detailing software systems such as Advance Steel, StruCad and even AutoCad 2D will be considered as full Tekla training will be given. **Ability to work with the design team on large projects as well as working on your own detailing smaller projects / buildings. ** Be aware of drawing issues for approval / workshop and project deadlines.

On offer**:An excellent salary C£35k to £50k D.O.E.**
