Yard Person

We have an opportunity for a Yard Person to join our team. We are looking for a hard worker who can work well as part of a team or alone. This is a varied role and will be mostly outside in all weathers.

Your key responsibilities would include:

- Keeping the yard clean and tidy.
- Ensuring the yard is a safe and secure environment.
- Follow and enforce company health and safety procedures.
- Dealing with deliveries to and from the yard.
- Possible collection of stock items as and when necessary.
- Washing vehicles including plant and machinery.
- Van swaps as and when required.
- Willing to perform any duties that may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company.

Skills and Attributes:

- Ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and hardworking.
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform the work required.
- Fork lift truck licence.
- A valid UK driving licence.

Some Saturdays required as and when necessary.
