**Job Title: Global IS Apprentice**

**Business Area: Group Information Services (IS)**

**Location: Oxford**

**Job Purpose**

The Global IS Apprentice role will play a key part in the development and continual improvement of Information Services delivered to the Lucy Group business units. They will be introduced to existing and emerging technologies, where they will have the opportunity to grow and develop their technical skills and knowledge Information Technology (IT) and IT Service Management (ITSM). They will also gain first hand practical experience of how IT Services are designed, implemented and operated, including how they underpin the long-term strategic success of an organization.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Attend internal and external training courses and workshops as required, ensuring all learning objectives are achieved, and learning outcomes are applied to every day operational support activities.
- Leading and/or supporting the delivery of technology projects
- Play an active role in innovation projects and initiatives and provide regular ideas and suggestions for continual improvement.
- Ensure all obligations and targets relating to academic studies are met, and work with various internal IS Managers to ensure you have exposure to real-word technologies and activities as they relate to the academic studies.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**

**Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**:

- 5 GCSE’s A*-C/9 - 4, Including Math’s or English
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- A keen interest in technology and IT Services
- Self-motivated and committed to personal and professional development
- The ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team

**Training Required**
- Level 3 IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship

**Qualifications Included**
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Math’s
- BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Computing
