Kennel Hand

We are looking to expand our team as a result of a huge increase in our clientele base. We are a well established large kennels with 90 kennels in total. We are a friendly and welcoming group and are looking for a bright, confident and bubbly personality to come and join us.

There is a full-time position available as a kennel hand with the prospects of working towards an assistant manager role. Working 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday-Sunday.

Responsibilities as a Kennel hand
- Feeding, bathing, basic grooming, walking and exercising the dogs
- Cleaning kennels, poo picking large grass areas, filling large water troughs
- Answering the phone, taking bookings, dealing with general customer enquiries, cash handling, card payments

Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager (to be worked towards over time)
- Managing a team of staff
- Working with Manager on renewing policies and procedures to improve establishment
- Standing in for manager/s when needed
- Responsible for health and wellbeing of all dogs
- Working closely with Manager/s to understand staffing needs
- Customer Relations and Customer care

Desirable:

- Kennel experience
- Animal care qualification
- Customer service experience
- Driving License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,920.00-£27,000.00 per year
