We are looking for a Trainer to support our PMLD and Complex needs department.

The Vine is a department with over 50 Learners with Complex needs and behaviours that can challenge. We deliver a varied Curriculum to meet each of our learners' individual needs in line with their EHCP's. Our highly skilled team takes pride in developing our learners' personal and preparation for adulthood skills to prepare them for their future life. We have strong emphasis on working as a team, offering mutual support and flexibility while striving for the highest standards for our learners. Our ultimate goal is to enable our learners to become as independent as possible and lead a happy fulfilled life.
- We are looking for experienced trainers to contribute to the delivery of our courses in Independent Living skills with the focus on the key aspects of The Preparation for Adulthood framework.
- Planning a Programme of study in line with the objectives of the curriculum
- Creating lessons and resources to engage and develop learners
- Teaching principles and practical skills to help our learners along their journey into Adulthood
- Assessing the progress the learners make, marking work and feeding back in a way which helps them develop their abilities and understanding
- Tracking learner outcomes and working to ensure students are making progress
- You will also work as part of a team to create a nurturing, positive environment for the learners
- You will hold, or be working towards a recognised teaching qualification.
- You will also have experience of processes ensuring that the care and support is delivered within the guidelines of the college wide quality assurance policies and contribute enthusiastically to the overall success of the department.
