Hostelling International Northern Ireland (HINI) is a not-for-profit organisation providing youth hostel accommodation in Northern Ireland. It is a member of the Hostelling International federation.

We operate three budget youth hostels across Northern Ireland in Belfast, Bushmills and Whitepark Bay.

We require housekeepers for our Whitepark Bay Location

The hours for this role will vary according to demand and seasonality

You will be responsible to the Hostel Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out cleaning work to required standard as instructed by Hostel Manager.
- To ensure that linen and beds are checked and changed when required.
- To report to the Hostel Manager matters that are likely to affect their work or other matters they consider they should be aware of.
- To use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and inform Hostel Manager when stocks are low.
- To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults or repairs to the Hostel Manager.
- To ensure that cleaning storage and cupboards are kept clean and tidy.
- To undertake any non-routine cleaning tasks as instructed by Hostel Manager.
- To work to Hostel Guidelines, particularly Health & Safety Policy.
- To attend any Health & Safety Training courses as determined by Management.
- To undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
