**Veterinary Kennel Assistant**:
Full time kennel assistant required to work in a busy veterinary hospital in Bath, alongside the referral team. Animal handling experience essential, a qualification in animal based studies preferable, full clean drivers licence and 5 GCSEs grade C or above required.

As a kennel assistant you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital. You will clean, sterilise and pack surgical instruments, and ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

You will also assist in preparing patients for surgical and medical procedures, and assist with restraining patients for various procedures.

**Salary**: National Minimum Wage

**Salary**: £6.83-£9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- animal handling: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving License (preferred)

Work Location: One location
