Procurement Specialist - Gourock - Permanent - £££ Competitive

ARM is delighted to be supporting a leading Maritime business with the recruitment of a Procurement Business Partner on a permanent basis.

The Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for Procurement and Supply Chain activities in support of the management and control of designated areas of expenditure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the negotiation and management of a range of commodities to secure the best terms for the business
- Assist in the administration of the commercial aspects of Contracts
- Ensure all materials procured meet the Company's requirements of suitability for purpose,
- quality, safety, and price
- Deliver and support strategies to achieve targeted savings
- Responsible for providing cover when required for purchasing system administration (CPS)

**Requirements**:

- HND or equivalent qualification together with relevant experience is required
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Procurement and Supply Chain
- CIPS Qualification would be desirable
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain and Contract management is desirable
- Relevant experience of tendering procedures is desirable
- Experience of Public Sector Procurement legislation
