Based just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways in **LEEDS**, the successful Production Planner will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Castleford, Selby, Wetherby, Dewsbury and Halifax.

**Key responsibilities of the Production Planner**:

- Expediting various manufacturing issues with a view to staying on-track and maintaining the on-time delivery of the order
- Accurate maintenance of Schedules, Processes and Plans in SAP
- Support a variety of colleagues & departments in attaining up to date progress information
- Regular involvement with process improvement techniques and activities
- Review and ensure purchase requisitions are placed on time to support the schedules
- Previous experience working in a similar role such as Expeditor, Scheduler, Scheduler or similar, ideally within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
- Strong computer skills with experience using and MRP system (ideally SAP but others will be considered)

**Working Hours of the Production Planner**:
37.5 Hours per week with flexible start time offered.
- Core Hours: 10:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday / 10:00 to 14:30 Friday
- Earliest Start: 07:00

**In return, the successful Production Planner will receive**:

- Renumeration: Up to £32,000.00 per annum / £18.19 per hour
- Contract Length: 12 months+
