**Job overview**

**Full UK Driving Licence and own transport is required for this role as it covers 2 sites.**

Working as an integral part of the IT team, this role is required to assist in the day to day running & maintenance of warehouse systems & IT equipment in our Leeds and Chesterfield distribution centres, providing both 1st and 2nd Line Support. Coveringboth sites, the role will predominantly be based at Leeds 4 days a week, with 1 day per week at the Chesterfield distribution centre (mileage is paid for travelling to the Chesterfield site)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to our Warehouse Management System (WMS), maintaining automations/integrations, Business Intelligence software (such as Crystal Reports & Power Query/BI), carrier systems and site PCs/Thin Clients. Occasionalremote assistance to other sites in the Southwest will also be necessary.

**Main activities/responsibilities include**:

- Managing user liaison & provide pro-active feedback and user queries from reception to resolution.
- Act as escalation point for internal service issues (software & hardware) assistance and maintenance of EDI & integration with our Warehouse Management System.
- To be responsible for other warehouse systems assistance and maintenance such as carrier systems & bespoke customer software.
- To provide onsite and remote hardware & network support, particularly for RF guns and warehouse printers.
- To help identify and implement system improvements to the existing warehouse operation, that may be bespoke modifications to existing warehouse systems, new reporting needs or changes to existing processes.
- To liaise closely with the IT Team, Warehouse Administration team, Warehouse Team Leaders and Warehouse Management team.

**Qualifications/Skills required**
- Previous experience of working in a IT Support and/or IT helpdesk role (Microsoft based IT environment)
- Knowledge of PC hardware and Software
- Proficient with MS Query or equivalent, Excel and Outlook
- High levels of personal resilience
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness to learn new skills
- A flexible approach to tasks and problem solving, including ability to efficiently diagnose issues.
- GCSE English & Math C (Level 4) or above
- Full UK Driving Licence & own Transport

**Skills desired**
- Working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems
- Experience with mobile device/Scanner management
- Experience with label management software
- Crystal reports\Microsoft Query\SQL
- Excel at an intermediate level
