- You'll undertake various credit stewardship oversight activities as well sanction excesses within a delegated authority level in accordance with current risk appetite, process and procedures

- We're offering this role for a period of 14 months

**What you'll do**
You'll effectively manage and control operational systems and lending processes within your area of influence, supporting both Premier and Private customers. You'll make sure there's an appropriate use of credit processes and systems and implementation of creditpolicy, to effectively support the control of credit risk in a manner capable of responding to the economic environment.
You'll also:

- Process all e xcess requests w ithin a delegated authority level, routed to Credit Risk for manual underwriting
- Manage your personal workload effectively to make sure agreed SLAs are met
- Make sure we're identifying trends and risk as early as possible so we can take appropriate action
- Provide management with relevant information and escalate concerns regarding management of credit risks where appropriate

**The skills you'll need**
You'll demonstrate flexibility and change orientation, as well as the ability to work with limited supervision.
You'll also need:

- A good understanding of risk principles
- Knowledge of credit risk systems and processes
