**Document Writer**

We are actively seeking a Document Writer to prepare, distribute and manage multiple documents for our projects throughout the UK.

This is a crucial process that ensures all documents are organised and factual, aligned with the latest business and industry processes and standards. A good Document Writer has excellent organisation skills and pays attention to detail, which is a necessity in this position due to demanding nature of the business.

As a Document Writer you will join the company’s team based from the Bathgate Head Office and will report directly in to the Contract and Estimating teams.

**Mandatory Experience / Qualifications / Knowledge**:

- Must have excellent communication skills and be computer literate.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint.
- Suitable experience in creating and developing documents, including but not limited to Programmes, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Policies, Procedures, etc.
- Knowledge of current legislation and regulations.
- Proven work experience as a Document Writer or similar role.
- Change Requests, Revision Control and Obsolescence Processes.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Degree in Project Management or relevant field.
- CCDO Demolition Manager NVQ level 6.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent.
- Experience in demolition / construction.
- Practical industry knowledge and be able to work from drawings.

**Responsibilities / Requirements / Skills**
- Monitoring of compliance and regulatory requirements including keeping updated with current and new legislation.
- Create, review for accuracy, and update technical documents (e.g. Programmes, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Working Procedures, Policies, Procedures, etc).
- Preparation and upkeep of Site Files.
- Retrieve and distribute project-related copies of required documents to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on progress, ensuring information is obtained and communicated between site teams and management.
- File documents in physical and digital records.
- Create templates for future use.
- Coordinate meeting actions to ensure that Client needs are being met.
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
- Attend project meetings, identify problem areas and ensure that corrective actions are initiated.

**Salary/Benefits**
- Competitive Salary (Starting at £25,000.00 depending on experience).

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
