**Mitie is looking for outstanding Security Officers to work within Cabot Circus Shopping Centre. We are currently looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about looking after and anticipating the needs of our customers. Working within the essential Security team, you will be the main point of contact for all of our customers and retailers within the Centre. You will be working on a 4 on 4 off basis, shift patterns are 12 hours 07:00hrs - 19:00hrs and 11:00hrs - 23:00hrs**

**£11.00 per hour plus benefits**

**Job Overview**
- Ensuring that all Security duties are carried out to the satisfaction of the Client and in line with Company Assignment Instructions.** **To maintain a high visibility presence within the clients premises and that of its tenants. To act as an ambassador for Mitie and the client at all times acting in a professional manner in order to deliver service excellence. To act as an intermediary between site security team and local police force on day-to-day-operational issues.

**Main Duties**

Operations
- To assist with complying with agreed SLA's and Key Performance Indicators
- To comply with Assignment Instructions / Standard Operating procedures at all times and carry out duties accordingly
- Ensure that you have read, understood and signed the Assignment Instructions.
- Ensure that Health and Safety processes and procedures are complied with at all times
- Escalate appropriate issues to Line Management and Mitie Control and Command Centre
- Maintain expected standard of time keeping, appearance, customer service
- Participate in any company initiatives which are designed to achieve company business objectives
- Attend team meetings and one-to-one reviews where applicable
- Any other reasonable duty as requested by Mitie Management
- To maintain in confidence Client and Company confidential information at all times

Training
- Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
- To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
- Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
- You are required to ensure you renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety
- Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
**Information Security**
- Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities.
- Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager
- **Report actual and suspected security incidents.**

**What we are looking for**
- SIA License (DS preferred but not essential)
