**We are looking for an English tutor who can support a Year 11 Student with GCSE English.**

The student is preparing to sit their GCSEs and requires support in these final weeks.

The student is aiming for a minimum of a grade 4.
- Currently working at a 1 in English Language
- Currently working at a 3 in English Literature

This tuition is face to face at the student's home.

The student requires tuition for 1 - 1.5 hours each week until the exams.

The student is available on Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday from 4.30pm.

**The role**:

- This role will involve providing tuition to young people referred to Anchor Tutors
- Planning each session of teaching
- Providing engaging sessions which meet their needs
- Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress

**Tutor requirements**:
**Desirable**
- Professional Teaching Qualifications
- 1+ years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes

**Essential**
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- UK Right to Work
