This exciting Coach in Practice post will provide the opportunity for the right person to work in an expanding Social Work and Social Care team at the University of Gloucestershire. If you are passionate and confident in your ability to transfer knowledge to pre-registration students in both a practice and classroom setting, then this is the role for you. The successful applicant will work closely with the Social Work and Social Care team, University placement team, and our various local partners to ensure the curriculum reflects contemporary practice and policy, and ensure best practice is reflected in the student’s education, with a focus on supporting Social Work apprenticeship students through their programme and completing associated individual learner reviews and direct observations.

The School of Health and Social Care will be relocating from its current premises on Oxstalls Campus to the City Campus, a new development for the University that will be a focal point of Gloucester City, and a modern centre for teaching learning and community partnerships.
