HOME DELIVERY DRIVER
Do you enjoy being out on the road? Do you like an early finish?
Gi Group are currently recruiting 2 Home Delivery Drivers to join our well established client in Little Stoke, Bristol.
Pay rate - £11.75 per hour
Duration - temp ongoing
Working days - Monday to Friday
Shift times - 4.30am-5.30am starts, 8 hour shifts
Reporting to - Transport Manager
Requirements for Home Delivery Drivers:

- Drivers must be at least 18 years old
- Hold UK/EU manual driving licence for 12 months + and no more than 6 points on licence
- Have experience of driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle within last 3 years
- Must not have been banned previously
- BASIC DBS check (in current climate, driver would be able to start work whilst the DBS check is still in progress)
You will be expected to provide anti-slip footwear
You will have good customer service skills
Good communication skills
- Loading the van for deliveries at the start of the shift
- Using a hand held app to follow delivery patterns
- Preparing and safely operating a vehicle for the majority of the shift
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work space
- Lifting heavy goods
- Delivering all items accurately within an agreed timescale
- Ensuring every customer has a positive and enjoyable shopping experience
- Must have held a valid licence for a minimum of 12 months
- Must have driven a 3.5tn vehicle for any period of time within the last 6 months
- No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
- No major offences
- Commit to the same shift pattern weekly for 3 months
- Complete an induction before your first shift. These are normally run on Tuesdays.
