Caretaker Supervisor

Interaction Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Caretaker supervisor on behalf of our client at College in South Cambridgeshire.

**37 per week, to be worked between 6am and 7pm on a rota basis - Monday-Friday**

**£12.55ph - £13.19ph (dependant on experience)**

**January 2023 - initially working on a 2 month period with the potential of permanent position.**

**Role purpose**

Supervising and coordinating Caretaking, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security and Cleaning tasks, supporting Property Services in all areas at Cambridge Campus, but also at other College property if required.

**Main responsibilities to include but not limited to**:

- Arranging, supervising and monitoring the provision of general handyman/maintenance services.
- Arranging, supervising and monitoring messenger duties, parcel and mail deliveries within the College, as required.
- Arranging, supervising and monitoring the provision of general handyman/maintenance services.
- Assisting with gritting, salt spreading and snow clearance, as required.
- Assisting with internal and external painting work.
- Assisting with window cleaning, and cleaning of externals of buildings and externals areas.
- Driving College vehicles, as required.
- Supervision and co-ordination, of the SMART Caretaking/Security team.
- Supervision and co-ordination, of the Cleaning team, in conjunction with the Support Services Supervisor.
- Ensuring staff rotas are produced, and that a service is delivered throughout the College day.
- Monitoring tasks and producing health and safety information including risk assessments and method statements, to ensure team have safe working practices in place.
- Challenge and address any inappropriate behaviour on site.
- Assisting with the locking and unlocking of buildings, including alarms
