Lead Housekeeper

You will lead the housekeeping team in cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area. As the Lead Housekeeper, you will be responsible for providing support, guidance and supervision, whilst monitoring therecruitment and performance reviews to ensure continuity of services and facilities.
You have an exciting opportunity to support the Senior Management Team in ensuring a high standard of cleanliness within the newly designed Unit interior. You will have the opportunity to set up systems that work by arranging cleaning schedules and a staffingroster to support the service and your team.
**Your responsibilities**:
- To clean designated areas to the highest possible standard
- To review implemented schedules to meet the needs of the independent wards and hospital wide.
- To be dynamic and flexible within the role and to meet the needs of the business, and to support in continuous regulatory changes to maintain safety and infection control measures.
- To order materials and equipment in line with monthly budgets from designated suppliers
- To follow Infection Control guidance and compete the local Infection Control audit
- To use all chemical and machinery in line with Departmental Procedures, Health and Safety Regulations and Manufacturers Instructions
- To effectively manage stock levels and replenish janitorial products
- Operate a documented Housekeeping programme that is auditable
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- C.O.S.H.H Training
- Cleaning Industry Standards
- Experience in a similar role & environment
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
