**SystmOne Clinical Systems Trainer Band 7** **Job Summary**:
The Trainer will work under the direct supervision of the Lead Clinical Systems Manager to deliver a high-quality Training service across the Trust. Their main role will be to deliver training however they will be working across both SystemOne Training.
**Location**: West Ealing, London
**Temporary**: Expected to last 3 months with possible extension
**Hours per week**: 37.5 hours per week
**Salary**: £26.50 per hour (Umbrella) or £24 per hour (PAYE inclusive of holiday pay)
**Experience and Knowledge**
- Knowledge of S1
- Able to make clear presentations which engage the audience and effectively deliver the message and training to audiences with differing levels of understand and needs
- Experience in developing, designing and tailoring training materials to engage learners and meet agreed programme learning outcomes
- Substantial experience in working with Clinical Information Systems
**Key Result Areas & Performance**
- Working within Application Services, you will be reporting to the Lead Clinical Systems Manager. Our service is responsible for the delivery of the Clinical Systems used by the trust
- To be innovative, developing, implementing and evaluating new training materials/approaches.
- Responsible for the coordination and administration of specific Clinical Systems Training via support staff, and defining and agreeing on session plans, user guidance and other training content.
- To be influential on training approaches, structure and formats for all Clinical Systems training, ensuring training delivered is compliant with local and national guidelines and our relevant policies and procedures
- To provide specialist training and advice to users which may include suggested configuration options of the deployed systems, to ensure the best fit within the operational service and wider environment. Where required, this will also include participatingin testing of system upgrades where those systems form part of the wider training portfolio
- To provide the Lead Clinical Systems Manager with appropriate support to ensure that Clinical Systems Training is appropriate to support the dynamic requirements of the Business Technology strategy and priorities
- Establish and monitor mechanisms to ensure all training material is managed accurate, adheres to house style and is up to date, and fully exploits the potential of the electronic approach
- Ensure that learner feedback on the training delivered is collated and acted upon if necessary
- Delivering high-quality training, responsible for coordinating, planning and preparing training facilities and material before courses
- Develop new packages of training and when the trust procures new systems requiring training or makes significant changes to the use of existing system changes
- To communicate effectively with all trust staff and external suppliers
- To undertake the creation of E-learning packages via captivate, keeping up to date with the latest information on Captivate and the latest and most efficient way to create e-learning tools.
- Working closely with all areas of the organisation in relation to training for SystmOne
- Log Training issues to third party suppliers for resolution
- Investigate existing and future SystmOne functionality, providing the Trust with opportunities to expand on functionality, maximising value for money and the benefits realisation of systmOne as a major business-critical investment. Work with key stakeholdersacross the trust to ensure best practice in the use of the System is developed and implemented and that the appropriate training material in the correct format is created
