**Business Support Assistant - Permanence Hub**:
The post of Business Support Assistant is full time - 37 hours per week. The role is to work within the Provider Services Business Support Team - to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Manager, Senior Business Support Officer, Team Managers and staff across the service.

You will be highly motivated, organised and be able to act on your own initiative or as an effective member of a team. The role will be responsible for the provision of support services and the development of administrative/financial systems and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of Directorate Services.

The role is to work within the Provider Services Business Support Team - to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Manager, Senior Business Support Officer, Team Managers and staff across the service.

The post requires excellent communication skills and you will have the ability to deal appropriately with the public as well as other professionals. The work involves support to the Senior Business Support Officer in compiling data for reports including quarterly and annual reports to Ofsted and ASGLB. **You must be competent at minuting meetings**, considerable IT work including our record system (Liquidlogic) and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook is essential.

The ability to prioritise tasks, create and maintain administrative systems will also be essential for contributing to a high-quality service. In addition to providing sound secretarial skills, you will be friendly, have a good sense of humour and have the ability to work effectively as a member of the team.

The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
