**Job Description**:
Based within the ABAS function, you will own and deliver assurance assignments that cover governance, design adequacy and operating effectiveness of the internal control environments for De Beers Downstream and E6. This role is based in London, United Kingdom, but you should expect some international travel (approx. 20%) to conduct and perform the audits.

You will be responsible for:

- Delivering Business Unit audits as well as Group Wide audits in a way that acts as a catalyst for change and improvement, ensuring all assignments are conducted in accordance with ABAS standards, methodology and are in line with the annual plan.
- Conducting analysis of audit findings within Business Unit’s and/or across the Group to identify themes and issues for management to address; communicating findings to the Head of Risk and Assurance (HR&A) and other stakeholders regarding consequences of control weaknesses.
- Leading and motivating, direct project team members so that they produce consistent, high quality performance.
- This role is in the ABAS Department reporting to the Assurance Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant degree and preferably a professional qualification e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIA, CISA or CA

**Skill Requirements for Role**
- IIA standards and general acceptable auditing techniques.
- Substantial post qualification experience within internal audit or risk management
- Previous luxury brands or working with large multi-national firms preferred.
- Experience in engaging and developing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience of working with cross-functional and where appropriate geographical teams
