**The Role**

We are recruiting for an energetic Barista to join our friendly Front of House team in our constantly evolving food and retail business.

Our busy Café, located at the heart of the Garden Centre, seats a maximum of 200 hungry diners, all of whom will require a courteous, friendly, and efficient service.

Please note this role will require the ability to stand for extended periods of time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing all the hot drinks.
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions about the menu or café policies.
- Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing accurate change to customers. Operating cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Keeping the café clean and organised, including wiping down tables, counters, and equipment, as well as sweeping and mopping floors.
- Ensuring that condiment stations and dining areas are well-stocked and tidy.
- 1+ year of Barista experience.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail, never compromising on standards.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Food hygiene and allergy awareness would be an advantage.

**Hours of Work**
- 9am - 5pm Friday
- 10am - 4.30pm Sunday
- Overtime shifts offered during busy periods, and for holiday/sickness cover.
- All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break for lunch.

Nestled within the beautiful Surrey Hills and yet only 35 minutes from London Bridge by train, Priory Farm Estate, a family run business founded by the Shinners in 1957, established itself originally as a working farm and major supplier to the food industry.

Today, over 65 years later, we have created a bustling rural hub consisting of our award winning farm shop, gift barn, family adventure trail, seasonal pumpkin picking, event venue and newly renovated extension and state-of-the-art Butchery, Garden Centre and Café.

The site welcomes some one million customers each year who appreciate the excellent service and quality we guarantee.
