Due to maternity leave, we require a qualified SENCo on a part time basis for a 6 month contract, to start asap.

In the role, you will be responsible for the following:

- All matters relating to inclusion, including overseeing the School's equal opportunity and accessability plan
- Oversee and quality assure the schools provsion for SEND students and EAL
- Track and analyse pupil performance, paying attention to disadvantage groups such as those with special educational needs or who speak English as an additional lanuage to ensure they make progress in line with their peers
- Overseee Co-educators such as Learning Support and Teaching Assistants
- Be the designated lead for LAC within the school,ensure that relevant services and support are in place, liaise with outside agencies as nessecary and report to stakeholders.
- Work with individual students and families to ensure inclusion within the school, liasing with staff and other stakeholders
- Work with families on care plans for students
- Oversee and quality assure the school's provsion for highly able students.
