1- The post holder will provide an effective and efficient canteen service to the prisoner population, adhering to strict guidelines and deadlines. Accurately picking, tilling and bagging individual orders in preparation for delivery to residential areas. The post holder will occasionally be required to work outside in all weather conditions (appropriate PPE will be provided.) This role will have prisoner contact. Is it a manual handling role, and training will be provided.- Responsibilities- 1- Undertake a wide range of duties to deliver canteen service to our prisoner population, including manual handling and be able to work on own initiative.- 1- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines in manual handling daily.- 1- 1- Required to handle confidential information and follow correct administrative protocols and procedures.**Person Specification**- Qualification Requirements- 1- A minimum of 2 National 5 Qualifications, including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.- 1- Full Driving Licence, or willing to work towards a Driving Licence within 12 months of the probation period.- Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements- 1- Sound knowledge and experience of maintaining stock control, including experience of manual handling duties.- 1- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and efficiency to meet agreed organisational and department deadline.
