Mpeople are excited to be recruiting for our client who are a Engineering company based in Dukinfield for a TIG Welder.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business.

**Salary**: £16.40per hr

**Hours of work**: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

**Holidays**: 25 days holiday for the year + 8 bank holidays (shut down at Christmas so 3-4 days have to be saved for this)

**Free onsite parking**

As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include;
- Fabrication and welding various Aerospace components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
- Fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations between 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker)
- Working to tight tolerances and deadlines
- Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health and safety guidelines

Essential Skills
- Previous experience of TIG Welding aluminium & stainless steel (titanium an advantage)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- Keen eye for detail
