The Cottage Boutique currently has an opening for a housekeeping supervisor.

Permanent, all year round job working as part of a property management team of 3. Working alongside our office team to collectively manage 60 properties in and around St Ives.

Organising cleaners and co-ordinating changeovers. Work includes managing the linen (hired) and preparing welcome hampers etc for changeovers, supervising cleaners on a busy changeover day. Various admin related to the care and upkeep of the cottages, working alongside the office team.

You will need a full, clean driving licence and be happy to drive a medium size van in St Ives. The job includes some manual labour - lifting laundry bags etc. Fridays can be very full on getting everything turned around and a 'can do' attitude and happy disposition is a must.

A great rate of pay, flexible working hours - this is a team that works around each other to create a happy working enviroment. Loosely based on a 28/30 hour week. The hours are 9am - 3pm Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays with a longer day (typically 9am - 5pm) on a Friday. Because our main changeover day is on a Friday, the workload is less over the weekend and therefore we rotate it through the team - meaning you don't work every weekend....pretty unique in the hospitality industry.

Experience is preferable but not essential, the right person with the right attitude is more important and the rest can be learned on the job.
