Assembly Operative

Bridgnorth, Shropshire

£9.70 per hour

A busy manufacturing company based in Bridgnorth (between Wolverhampton and Telford) are looking for an Assembly Operatives for an immediate start.

The company are looking for someone to be part of a team assembling and packing half height shower doors for the less abled health care market. The role includes light assembly operations using hand tools and some associated machinery. Product packing will also be part of the role.

We are looking for employees to approach work with an ambition for excellence demonstrated by taking responsibility for every task undertaken, understanding its contribution to the business and exceeding expectations.

**Key responsibilities**
- Daily responsibility for Health & Safety and ISO Compliance within area
- Support the company in production, making sure the business is adequately supplied in alignment with plans.
- Ensuring key performance indicators are met.
- To be multi-tasking within the process area.
- Participate in the implementation of any new policies and procedures relating to the production process.
- Support the team leader in achieving the goals and targets set in your area.

**Personal Attributes**
- Good organisational skills with a methodical approach to tasks.
- Ability to work and cope in a fast-paced environment.
- Good team worker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible approach to overtime and other work to cover demand as required.
- An understanding of the importance of quality.

**Qualification & Experience**
- Experience of working with hand tools would be advantageous.
- Willing to work overtime when required.

40hr week (08:00am - 16:30pm Mon to Fri). The hourly rate will increase following a sucessful probationary period.
