Nursery Cook

Early learners Day Nursery require a cook within our busy Nursery
- Monday - Friday
- £12.30 per hour

31 hours per week
- 4 x 6 hour days 9am - 3pm

1 x 7 hour day 8am - 4pm

- The applicant should have the ability to prepare, **cook** and serve healthy and nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children.
- Must be able to deal with complex dietry requirements
- Level 3 food hygiene certificate.
- Working in partnership with the Manager, Deputy Manager and Third in Charge to ensure the preparation of a balanced and healthy diet for the children

2. Adhering to Company Policies & Procedures and complying with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety

3. Adhering to Health and Safety and working within the guidelines of Ofsted/CSSIW/SCSWIS and the National Standards

4. Implementing the Company Safeguarding Policy and Procedures

5. Preparing a suitably balanced rotating menu taking into account dietary and cultural requirements of the children

6. Any other duties appropriate to the post as directed by senior management

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
