**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Reading or Perth

**Salary**: £26,609 - £30,472 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: 6 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available - This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from the office

**What is the Role?**

As we progress through a phased migration of our business supply customers to our new customer billing system you will support the existing Income team to manage the expected spikes in workload and continue to deliver excellent service to our customers. As an Income Advisor your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing an Outlook mailbox where we receive high volumes of remittance (payment breakdown) information from our business customers.
- Preparing remittance information ready for keying.
- Keying remittances to allocate payments; these can be many pages in length.
- Working on payment files in the new system to review, approve or reject proposed allocations.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Ability to learn new processes quickly and follow process documentation (full training will be provided).
- Ability to work with Excel to a good-level of proficiency is an essential requirement.
- Experience in working to deadlines and accurately processing high volumes of work.
- Numerical confidence and accuracy; basic accounting skills would be useful but not essential.
- Flexibility and strong communication skills to work effectively across the team, including virtually.
