We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated competent individual to provide a professional clerking service to the Local Governing Body at The Greetland Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised individual to work with our dedicated and supportive team of Governors and School Staff.
The role involves preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes, attending and accurately taking minutes of meetings and providing advice and support to the Local Governing Body.
The Local Governing Body meet approximately twice a term (six meetings a year) and these meetings are generally set in advance and take place in school in the evening. Annual salary is based on a total of 6.5 hours per meeting, including all preparation, research and writing up minutes. This can be carried out from home and therefore these hours are flexible, providing timelines are adhered to. In addition, there may be ad hoc meetings and events which require a minute taker.
Advice and support will be provided by the Clerk to The Trust Board and clerks of our other academies within the trust.
