Alexandra Park Children´s Learning Community is a Reggio Emilia inspired children´s learning community, we have a nursery and kindergarten.
Our nursery is a bit different. We have chickens, an amazing outdoor space, and artists working alongside practitioners. Visitors often comment on how content and engaged our children are, this is thanks to our brilliant team who are probably the best in the world.
We are currently looking to welcome an early years practitioner to join our lovely team and work with babies.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our successful 100 place setting, where the Managers believe strongly in rewarding staff and supporting them to develop.
Full time, Mondays to Fridays 8 hour shifts between 7.15 am and 6pm.
Part-time: Two or Three days a week 7.30am to 6pm
Part-time: 5 days a week 3pm to 6pm

**Duties**:
- Implement a quality child care and education approach in line EYFS
- Support other staff within the group
- Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
- Create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development
- Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development
- Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
- Respond to the emotional needs of the children
- Maintain up to date records for key children within the group
**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or above in childcare
- A creative and cooperative team person
- Committed to excellence in early childhood education and care
- Willingness to learn about our Reggio Emilia and democratic approach
- Positive, energetic ‘can do’ attitude.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: Up to £22,000.00 per year
