**About us**

Artway Ltd is a wholesale supplier of creative materials (sketchbooks, drawing paper, paints portfolios etc) to education, Amazon and retail. We also supply directly to individuals via our own website and various other channels such as eBay. Established for over 25 years, we have grown significantly in the last few years and are in the process of moving into new premises on the Bowerhill Industrial Estate in Melksham (SN12 6TJ)

Based at this new warehouse, we are looking to recruit a Full Time (Permanent) Warehouse Operative & Order Picker to join our team. Working 40hrs/wk (8hrs/ day) in shifts from Monday to Friday, typical working hours will be 9:00 start to a 17:00 finish

Primary purpose of role:

- Picking and packing orders for wholesale and retail customers
- Sending pallets of stock to Amazon Fulfillment Centres
- Stocking up shelves in the order packing area
- Making up art kits for customers
- Helping to keep the warehouse organised and tidy

If you have a genuine interest in arts and crafts (or are a practising artist) then this may be an advantage in terms of developing your role within Artway in the future as there may be options for product testing, development and also within marketing / social media.

Essential Requirements:

- Working in a physically demanding environment (a lot of our products are heavy as they are paper based) in a safe manner as a Warehouse Operative.
- Customer focussed, representing Artway in a professional manner to ensure that each delivery is correctly checked and packed
- Neat and tidy, able to portray a professional appearance at work
- Good computer skills

Pay: £19,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
We are currently operating a 'Click & Collect' service rather than customers coming in to the office area. Any visitors are temperature checked.
