Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is excited to be supporting an established charity based in Cardiff whose purpose is to provide **better mental health and well being outcomes **to its population by providing a range of relevant support services to find a Finance Assistant to join the team.

**What the Finance Assistant will be doing**:

- **Management Accounts**:Assist in producing monthly management accounts, budgets, re forecasts, and cash flow forecasts in line with the Finance and Performance Manager's time line.
- ** Precision in Reconciliation**: Ensure control accounts and ledger reviews are accurate, and reconcile nominal ledger, aged debtors, and aged creditors promptly.
- ** Seamless Operations**:Take charge of purchase invoice coding, supplier payments, and bank transactions, while preparing monthly bank reconciliations and payroll processes.

**What the Finance Assistant will need**:

- **Financial Fluency**:Your strong financial background, recognised professional qualification (e.g., AAT), or at least 3 years of relevant work experience equips you to navigate complex financial tasks with confidence.
- ** Attention to Detail**: Your keen eye for detail and excellent numerical skills ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience of sales ledger and purchase ledger including preparation of payment runs and reconciliations.
