Purpose of the role:
Working as part of the events team in delivery of high-end standards at all events, this role is integral to the continued success of this dynamic and progressive business. You will be involved in and have an influence over all aspects of events and have creativeinput.
**Key Accountabilities for the Events Manager**:
- Working with the team and clients to assist in planning, preparation, and successful delivery for all events
- Supporting in delivery of events on time, within budget
- Liaising with clients on a daily basis
- Producing proposals within budget
- All administration involved with event delivery
- Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
- Stock control, logistics, cost controls
- Setting and maintaining high levels of customer care, leading by example
- Training team members
**Key Skills Required for the Events Manager**:
- Solid experience within hospitality, hotel or restaurant
- Managed events within a hospitality setting
- Confident communicator
- Passion for people and delivering high levels of service
- Managed a successful team
- Events management experience
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Ability to multitask and manage different projects at the same time
- A keen interest in food and drink is a must
- Ambitious with a keen interest in your own development
- Organised administration skills
**What's in it for you?**
- A salary of between £2,000 and £30,000
- Working 42 hours a week over five days (this role does involve some evening and weekend working - mix of day/ weekend shifts
