Salon Coordinator

We have a great opportunity based at our Dunstable campus for a Salon Coordinator to become a key member of our Hair & Beauty department.

As a Salon Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students:

- To ensure the assessments for Hair & Beauty students are planned and delivered as authentic assessments on outside clients
- To manage stock
- To be responsible for commercial takings and cashing up procedures within the commercial salon
- To assist lecturers in the Hair and Beauty salon to supervise and instruct learners, in order to ensure improved learner success, progression and learner satisfaction
- To promote salon services to perspective clients through the use of social media.
- Possess an NVQ Level 3 in Hair & Beauty or equivalent qualification
- Willing to work towards or possess a Learning and Development Assessor Award

**Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services**
- 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
- 27 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for part-time
