**We are looking for a proactive and experienced Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Team based at our Bourne site.**

In this role you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices and credit notes, raising sales ledger invoices and credit notes, and updating and entering data on the internal accounting system in a timely and accurate manner. To assist and support the Ledger Controller on tasks and projects. This role requires a confident individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working within a small team you will also be expected to carry out tasks relating to other functions within the department as to ensure continuity of service. This is a wide-ranging role that requires a working knowledge of both sales and purchase ledger and credit control procedures.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Experience of working within a Finance role
- Working towards an accounting qualification (eg AAT)
- Competent in using accounting packages
- Understanding of Microsoft Office products including Excel
- Excellent communication and customer support skills
- Good organisation skills and able to demonstrate initiative and attention to detail
- Experience of FMCG and Retailer engagement would be advantageous

This role will be working Monday to Friday, working 40 hours each week, but with a flexible approach to working hours.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
