Thomas Plant Hire Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Plant Fitter based out of our Scotland depot, covering all south Scotland and surrounding areas for breakdowns and service work

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family owned & run company that has successfully grown nationwide and continues to grow rapidly.

You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our all machines ensuring they run to the high standards expected by both customers and the company.

**Duties Overview**:

- Working efficiently to fulfil machine breakdowns with on site repair and maintenance
- maintaining high standards of representation on site
- Ensuring all relevant data is captured with supporting images whilst work is in progress

Essential Skills
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence ( max 6 penalty points )
- Experience in working with construction plant and machinery.
- Own tools are essential
- Knowledge of fault finding and repairs on all small to large scale plant machinery.
- Welding/ fabrication experience beneficial
- Able to log and document work carried out in detail.
- Good communications skills both written and verbal.
- Good team player & self motivated
- Basic IT skills required for PDA devise

**Benefits**:

- Working Hours: 7.00am to 5.30pm Mon to Friday minimum + OT ( alternative weekend option )

Mobile position with engineers vehicle provided

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year based on experience
