**JOB TITLE: Airside Driving & Warehouse Operative (Nights)**

**SHIFTS: 4 on 4 off Nights (19:00>07:00)**

**SALARY: £28’392 - £29’484 (Equivalent £13.00 / £13.50 p/h)**

**BASE: Gatwick Airport**

**Mixed 70% driving and 30% warehouse activity role based at Gatwick Airport.**

**Working within a small team so good team work ethic and ability to work on own initiat**ive** essential.**

**Daily duties will be focused around receiving/despatching and delivering Airport Supplies to the airport environment.**

**What we would like from yourselves**:

- Min 3 years driving experience (preferably Airside but non-essential)
- Full, UK Driving License with less than 6 points.
- 5 Year checkable employment history (no gaps in employment above 28 consecutive days)
- Right to work in UK & no disqualifying convictions for working airside

**Key Responsibilities**
- To ensure you have the best possible equipment available by the completion of pre/current & post work checks via mobile app.
- Load and secure all items Load and secure items to delivery vehicles (which could be your own) and deliver in safe condition to all customers.
- Ensure daily 100% scan compliance is achieved accounting for all our tasked deliveries/collections.
- Time management/route planning and communication to ensure your workload is completed.
- Security Screening of Airport/Inflight Supplies (Enhanced salary upon achievement)
- Planning and despatching loads (including via Transport Management System and liaising with drivers requiring assistance whist performing their duties.

Being a part of the GBA Logistics unique Aerospace ‘Skyway’ product you will play a critical part in a growing team of specialist who provide customer-tailored global end-to-end solutions to support the aerospace industry 24/7. Your warehouse activities will require you to operate in an Aviation Secure facility with strict security protocols and processes structuring your working activities. You will be required to process deliveries/collections to/from the facility as well as processing items through the warehouse including security screening items where required. The role will require some physical manual handling to process such items in a safe and secure manner.

Your driving activities will see you deliver/collect secure items in and around the airport environment providing the ‘last & first mile’ of time critical shipments directly from or into the hands of our airlines ‘engineer customers airside and so you will be the local hero face of the overall team powering our industry forward.
