**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan carpentry projects accurately.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to project requirements.
- Install wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
- Repair or replace damaged wooden structures and fixtures as needed.
- Collaborate closely with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, to ensure seamless integration of carpentry work with other aspects of construction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to carry out carpentry tasks.
- Communicate regularly with project managers and supervisors to provide progress updates and address any issues that may arise.
- Assist in estimating material and labor costs for carpentry projects.
- Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and quality in all carpentry work performed.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter and Joiner or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions closely.
- Health and safety awareness, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and perform manual labour.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
