**As a Teaching Assistant working, your duties may include**:

- Supporting the teacher in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all children
- Planning and preparing resources for lessons and activities
- Working with individual children and small groups to support their learning and development
- Helping to create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment for all children
- Encouraging positive behaviour and reinforcing school values and expectations
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning at home
- Assisting with assessment and record-keeping to monitor children's progress
- Experience of working in an early years setting, ideally in a school
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to use their initiative and work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above

**Registering with M2 Education**

**Salary**: £11.41-£12.50 per hour
