**About the role**:
Ceredigion County Council is looking to appoint a Common Land and Access Assistant to cover a period maternity leave.

The Public Rights of Way team manage over 2500km of public rights of way including the iconic All Wales Coast Path, 30,000 acres of common/village greens, performs several statutory roles and is the lead service in managing and developing natural green assets.

The role involves working closely with the Ranger team and Community Access Officer in undertaking our statutory functions, assisting in managing and developing new opportunities for accessing the county’s beautiful coast and countryside and contributing to improving the health and wellbeing of the county’s residents and visitors.
- be energetic and enthusiastic and able to work with a minimum of supervision and as also part of a team. You will ensure a quality service is provided to users, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction;
- able to support the day to day management of public rights of way, lead on public path order work and common land & village green registration/management issues;
- have the interpersonal skills to work with a range of stakeholders both internal and external.
