Hairdressing Apprenticeship

**Purpose of the role**:
Achieve level 2/3 NVQ qualification in hairdressing. Assisting team members in their job role and learning all the skills to become a fully qualified hairstylist.

**Main duties**:

- Assisting team members in all aspects of hairdressing
- Learning the day to day requirements and skills of a professional hairstylist
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Maintain client records
- Advise clients on sutible retail products
- Take part in all training providing relevant models weekly

**Essential**:

- Excellent communication skills, face to face and over the phone
- Able to work to consistently high standards
- Good team player
- Willing to learn
- Professional attitude to colleagues and clients
- Creative, with an interest in fashion and trends
- Excellent time keeping and attendence

**Additional information**:

- Saturdays are normal working days
- Will be attend BL Hairdressing collage (newcastle city centre) once a fortnight to complete your qualification
- Must be committed to training

**Salary**: £5.28 per hour
