**Salary**: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

**Working Hours**: 39.5 hours per week average

**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for managing all phases of cost accounting and to provide accurate MI for all manufacturing activity across the division, including margin reporting and MI.
- Preparation of Periodic updates to reflect cost changes
- Preparation of Monthly Stock valuations
- Producing margin analysis based on factory costing for each site
- Deep Dive into material and stock variances on weekly and monthly basis
- Prepare NPD cost structures to ensure all costs are captured for accurate costing and product pricing, including first order review for variance analysis and BOM improvement.
- Support the budget and reforecast preparation for all variable costs and gross margin expectation for the division
- Carry out BOM reviews on regular basis for products with high variances, and annual review for all high selling products
- Preparation of monthly financials including variance reports and investigations with recommended actions.
- Support the development of the new ERP to fit business and operational needs
- Support other depts with reporting needs - sales pricing, margin management, customer & product profitability etc.
- Support the Head Office finance team in recurring reports and group reports, as and when required.
- Strong individual with an analytical approach with attention to detail

**Knowledge, Training and Experience required**
- 4+ years of costing experience on ERP within a manufacturing business
- Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Extensive data analysis experience and understanding of financials
- Strong excel and systems skills
- A strong understanding of stock and costing is essential
- System implementation/improvement experience would be beneficial
- Multi-site experience would be beneficial
