**Finance Administrator**

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - £22,000 - £26000

R McDowell Haulage and Distribution is currently looking to recruit an experienced **Finance Administrator** to work directly with the Finance Director and assist with routine administrative functions.

The independently owned firm was established almost 40 years and pride itself on teamwork and delivering excellent customer service.

**The Role**

Assisting the Finance Manager with routine administrative functions for the company.

We are looking for someone who will work on their own initiative, be a team player, and have a sound working knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting, payroll, and IT skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established Transport & Distribution Company with a proven success record.

Hours of work will be 40 hours Mon - Friday. Open to flexible working options.

**Responsibilities**:

- General accounts and office administrative support
- Payroll
- Liaising with other departments to obtain clarification of information

**Requirements**:

- Previous finance administration or similar experience.
- In-depth knowledge of administrative recordkeeping practices.
- Part or fully AAT qualified.
- Familiar with Sage 200
- Word processing and spreadsheet software skills essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Able to work effectively under time constraints and be 100% self-motivated and self-sufficient
- A team player with a 'can-do attitude
- Inquisitive Mind
