**Position Description and Location**:
**Responsibilities Include**
- Manage incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls.
- Manage engineers’ daily job schedules and holidays.
- Managing and planning preventative inspections.
- Create and log equipment and serial numbers on the FSM system.
- Updating customer details.
- Organize rotas and engineering bank holiday cover.
- Booking in of stock.
- Placing incoming stock into the stores.
- Picking, packing, and shipping.
- Arrange deliveries and collections of domestic and international freight.
- Maintaining stock levels in the warehouse by ordering replacement stock.
- Managing the return of faulty stock to third party repairers.
- Ordering of packing equipment and office supplies.
- Raising simple quotations.
- Raising purchase requisitions.
- Liaising with customers.
- Liaising with internal departments.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Liaising with shipping companies.
- Complying with the company’s health and safety rules.
- First aider.
- Ensuring first aid supplies and PPE is in date and in stock.
- Fire marshal.
- Using an electric pedestrian pallet truck.
- Stock checks.
- Any other reasonable request you may be asked to help with from time to time.

**Required Qualities**:

- A confident communicator.
- A professional telephone manner.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working practices.
- Good administration skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- The ability to work within given time frames.
- The ability to learn new technologies.
- A self-starter with a hands-on approach.
- A good organizer and planner.
- Working alone and as part of a team.

**Preferred but not essential experience**:

- Electromechanical knowledge.
- Stock control.
- Call centre experience.
- Customer service experience.

**Qualification requirements**:
GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
