Gardener (Manual Labour)

The role involves performing essential maintenance tasks to upkeep outdoor spaces. As a member of the gardening team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that outdoor areas are well-kept and visually appealing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Grass Cutting**: Utilise various tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmer's, and edgers to cut grass to the required length.
- **Strimming**: Use a strimmer to trim grass in areas that are inaccessible to lawnmowers, such as edges and corners.
- **Blowing**: Employ a leaf blower to clear away debris and leaves from pathways, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
- **Litter Picking**: Conduct litter picking prior to grass cutting to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
- **Routine Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on gardening equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- **Safety Procedures**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hi viz jackets and safety shoes.

**Requirements**:

- This role requires individuals who are physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks in various weather conditions.
- Experience in gardening or similar outdoor maintenance roles is preferred.

**Additional Information**:
Hours: 7:30 am - 15:30 pm
Note that when the clocks change, the start time will shift to 07:00 to accommodate daylight hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: From £12.59 per hour
